What is Youth Plywood Masters?
Youth Plywood Masters was conceived to create an opportunity for those not old enough to compete in the Plywood Masters, but still want to experience the unique fun and friendly atmosphere where the top youth climbers battle it out for the title of Youth Plywood Master.
We aim to create an enjoyable, challenging and motivating experience for those new to formal competitions and those with years of experience.
What to expect?
- Open to youth A, B, C & D (table below).
- Separate girls and boys categories .
- Scramble qualification across 8 blocs (set specifically for each category).
- IFSC style final (top 6 from each category).
- Flying Pig Pizza onsite both days.
- High-quality branded t-shirts for competitors.
- Problems set by Dave Barrans (Head setter), James Garden, Alice Thompson & Alex Fry.
